Finding Balance

Standing balancing postures can be some of the most challenging postures in our yoga practice. Beyond finding strength in the lower half of the body, our balancing postures require concentration and a clear mind.

In this four-week bundle, we will move through warming Vinyasa sequences, building up to a different peak posture each week. Each week will focus on a different standing balance pose, from half-moon through to bird of paradise.

Rise & Shine Flow is a warming morning practice focusing on opening the chest and the front of the body as we move to our peak posture of “Half Moon pose” and its variations

Lift & Lengthen is a warming Vinyasa sequence focused on stretching through the back-line of the body, in particular the spine and hamstrings, as we move towards our peak posture of "Bird of Paradise".

Strength In Flight will move you through a warming flow; we will focus on building strength in the legs and the hips to support us in balancing postures, as move towards our peak posture of "Eagle pose”.

Grace In Balance is a warming Vinyasa sequence with a focus on opening through the shoulders and Heart centre as we prepare for our peak posture of “Dancer’s pose”.

This series is built for you to return, again and again to; we suggest you complete one video as part of your practise each week and follow the above order across the month as Rebecca has designed the series.


After completing this series you will:

          * Notice a significant improvement in core strength and control

          * Feel more comfortable with these four key standing balancing postures

          * Understand how to activate different parts of the body to leverage better balance



Your yoga instructor has planned and created all 4 practices to help you re-sync and balance your body and mind. Rebecca specialises in Vinyasa and Yin yoga and is therefore able to expertly guide you through this sequence of flows that mirror the different stages of the monthly moon cycle.
