The Four Seasons

Join Lucy for this four part series as she moves through the different seasons and adjusts your practise to mirror the seasonal changes of the year. Learn more about the energy each season brings with it and how to channel this within your own practise, focusing on warming and cooling the body through various asanas and flow states.

Tell me more about this series ? 

SPRING: The perfect time to shake off the heaviness of winter and embrace the season of renewal, activity, expansion and growth. This spring yoga sequence is packed full of energising and uplifting poses to help you feel your most joyful and and spring-like whatever the time of year.

SUMMER: During the hot summer months of longer days and shorter nights we are more active than any other season. This summer practice lends itself to heart opening postures followed by a slower more meditate sequence to help cool and calm your body and mind.

AUTUMN: Autumn in all the beautiful, rich colours mother nature offers us, we naturally gravitate towards coming down a gear or two in the pace of our movement. Focus on instilling balance, on rooting, and on creating a steady reserve of energy, strength and understanding with this flow. Expect forwarding folds and seated postures.

WINTER: Winter with shorter days and dwindling light it is a time for finding the light within to fire your intentions for the coming year. Expect a fiery flow at a slower pace building heat gradually in the body.

Suggested: Complete one video as part of your practise each week and follow the above order as Lucy has designed the series, beginning with Spring and ending with Winter.

Lucy has planned and created all 4 practices to help you re-energise and balance your body and mind. Lucy is a Reiki master as well as a wonderfully talented and highly experienced yoga teacher. She has a truly heartfelt understanding of the body and elements, an ideal person to lead you through these classes especially if you are a beginner and would like to have a deeper understanding of yourself.
